Biography

Aryeh Hasfari: a musician, an actor, a screenwriter and a political agitator — he's never met a discipline he couldn't bend to his purpose. A restless sort, he spends his days finding ways where others only see walls, turning the awkward business of having something to say into songs that refuse to sit quietly.
Keren Ilan has always lived between worlds. Adopted from South-East Asia and raised in the Middle East, she writes from the space in between, where questions of identity and belonging quietly shape everything she records.
For now, the pair have just one release on Ghostown — but it's a fine calling card: brooding post-punk meets gentle folk, held together by Shuzin's production and lifted by Itamar Azoulay's understated video.
